about the show

From his desk, the life of the author Agnon is reflected.

From his books scarves appear, covering and forming the creation of different characters, right before the eyes of the audience.

In a slow, bewitching physical transformation, the actress is reborn in the form of different characters.

This is a journey into the life of a fascinating author, and 10 of the characters he created. One by one they emerge. Men, women, and a  dog named Balak.

Love, pain, and humor- the writings of Agnon, are portrayed in a celebration of literature, language, and theater.

reviews

"I left at the end of the show mesmerized by Ruti Tamir - a multidisciplinary artist, unusually gifted who managed to bring the writer Sha"y Agnon back to life. Run and don't miss this unique show."

Adi Sternberg, Mila site of Amanga

"Ruti Tamir managed to captivate me and left me speechless for an hour and a half, unable to breathe or move, when she brought up Agnon's characters one after the other in small fragments from his great works. Tamir is a virtuoso - and the characters she created fascinated me in every nuance of her face, With every word and syllable that came out of her mouth. With an equally fascinating sigh, she reviewed the life history of the man who created his characters, In short- run and see!"

Oron Schwartz, Moxini website

"Tamir, is an actress, mime, and such a talented creator, and that is why I recommend this show even for those who are not a fan of solo shows. You can't help but look at her, the way she goes from character to character before our eyes is mesmerizing, one moment she's the narrator's character, and the next, she's one Agnon's characters - with tremendous perfection that creates the feeling that there is not just one actress in the show here, but ten different characters and character number one."

Hadar Shabbat "In the direction of the wind

"A very successful, varied and intelligent adaptation. The segments are short, each segment stands on its own and there is curiosity to see more and more. The quality of the acting here is the secret of the show.  The minimalistic style of the show allows you to focus on the actress and the words. So well done! "
